ECS Celebrates Student/Alum Accomplishments

The Ph.D. program in the Department of Educational and Clinical Studies has had a rich history of placing its graduates in leadership positions across the United States. Last year the department had the most Ph.D. graduates at UNLV. ECS currently has doctoral graduates in 21 different states (more than 25 different universities) as well as in two foreign countries. ECS has been very impressed with the higher education positions the graduates have obtained. The program celebrates with the recent accomplishments of two UNLV ECS graduates:

Teri Marx, current ECS Doc. Student
Dr. Jason Travers, ECS Doc. Alum
Teri Marx, who is expected to graduate in summer 2014, has recently accepted a position with the American Institutes for Research (AIR) in Washington D.C.

Dr. Jason Travers (2010 graduate) just accepted a position with the University of Kansas, which is a top 5 Special Education program.

For future students interested in the Educational and Clinical Studies program, please contact the Doctoral Coordinator, Dr. Kyle Higgins.
