UNLV Counselor Education faculty members
Dr. Randy Astramovich and Dr. Wendy Hoskins recently presented at the
Association for Humanistic Counseling Annual Conference held June 6-7, 2014 in
Albuquerque, New Mexico. Their presentations included:

Dr.
Hoskins is an Associate Professor in the Educational & Clinical Studies
department. Her research interests include mental health counseling in schools,
counselor education, and international counseling practices. She is affiliated
with a number of professional organizations in her field including the American
Counseling Association, Association for Counselor Education and Supervision,
and the Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling.
Dr.
Astramovich is also an Associate Professor in the Educational & Clinical
Studies department and has been with UNLV since 2002. He has published numerous
journal articles and book chapters, and has also authored a book on the topic
of counselor program evaluation. His
research interests include the program evaluation skills and practices of
counselors, client self-advocacy, and promoting mental health counseling in
schools.
